I suspect it’s just a matter of time before the old Athens bus station is torn down as it’s now sandwiched between luxury student and game day housing. I wonder how many kids came to Athens for the first time on a bus, suitcase in hand, ready to start their university education?

I’ll admit to avoiding the campus area during dorm move in days and we have already started prepping for our oldest to head to college in a year’s time. No one was stuffing a mini fridge under the old Greyhound busses, I’m sure.
