We’ve had a hawk in the neighborhood since we moved here several years ago. It will occasionally alight on the fence in the backyard, once on the deck’s railing. Decided to try and catch it airborne today, so I grabbed a 600 mm lens and set up out back. Ten minutes later, not one but four or five came sailing over the trees.
Only got off a few frames before they were gone, will try again.
Were they all hawks? I’ve always been lead to believe that hawks are solitary hunters.
