Early this morning I pulled into the motor pool and checked out the big Chevy van, loaded it with kids and headed north – 12 hours later, we pulled into a Virginia hotel for the National Press Photographers Association Northern Short Course. Good times ahead.

The dean hasn’t been in the building since mid-March, the result of a tumble that resulted in multiple breaks. He made it to our send off event, held just before commencement. He was way happier than all the graduates, I think.
