Missed Lines
So the photo above is my usual, casual observation of my world.
Below, though … this is my bitter, angry observation. Luxury SUVs that could figure out how to park in a handicapped space. One on the way into the grocery store and another, in the same spot, on the way out.
Each had a proper plate or tag, but really?
Signing
Grady alum Steve Oney was in town, talked about his new book and signed a few. It’s now sitting on my table, though I didn’t get it signed … next time he’s in town, I’ll try again.
Pavement Gone
It doesn’t take long to remove a few acres of macadam.
1 Direction
Summer means construction season on campus. The lot adjacent to our building complex is being torn out and resurfaced. (This is not where I park, I’m cheap and use the $10-a-month cheaper lot across the street.)
Fencing Light
It’s kind of what we do, isn’t it? Steal a little light and try to sell it as something else.
Open
The main sign says open, which seems unlikely. It’s either a remnant from before the fire or is making reference to the smaller sign, which has the tattoo shop open at another location.
