During the photojournalism workshops, I tend to forget to go see things. One of my many regulars, Billy Weeks, makes sure to drag me out of our editing space.
Alas, he wasn’t with us this weekend and I waited way too late to get out, just as it started to rain and the fair was winding down for the evening.
The kids, though … they had a great day, photo blogging for the Macon Telegraph.
Time for the fall photojournalism workshop, our fourth year at the Georgia National Fair.
For the record, this is the 25th workshop I’ve organized for the kids since coming to the University of Georgia in 2005. Egads.
