The mask making continues, a couple dozen have gone out the door already, donated to local home health aid organizations. Another set is destined for the women’s shelter in town.

On my evening walk, I did a lap around the local elementary school. Lost coats, artwork in empty halls and assignments left outside for students.
Social distancing was marked out at Lowes this morning, too.

Got in two walks today, that never happens.

My former boss biked over to drop off some maple syrup that was sent to us by a friend. It’s getting to be a bit like a game of ding-dong-ditch – put something on a porch, ring the doorbell and then scamper out of range.
Downtown, local shoppers were respecting each other’s space as they waited to go into the Daily Grocery Co-op.

With the county starting to shut down, the dog park has been locked up. Social distancing is becoming the forced norm.

We took a drive out of town to pick up some elastic cords and went by one of the many function places, Vintage Oak Farms. They usually have messages on a giant chalk board, all blank today.
At home, the Mrs. and Girl Child have started sewing masks.
